Z-Morh and At Zojila in Jammu & Kashmir

Vayam did a feasibility study and prepared DPR for Two Tunnels; 6.5 km long at Z-Morh and 14.1 km long at Zojila, in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. We carried out field surveys and investigations in the Himalayan terrain, involving Topographical, Geological, Geotechnical, Hydrological, Seismic, Remote Sensing, EIA, SIA, Traffic and Material studies. Subsequently, the DPR covering presented Geotechnical, Civil, E&M and Ventilation designs as well as Cost Estimates.

Versova Andheri Ghatkopar MRTS Elevated Corridor at Mumbai

This is an 11.3 km long MRTS elevated corridor with double track metro rails and Mumbai’s first MRTS project. It is a complex one, passing through densely populated parts of the city. Its main features are:

  • Crossing Cable Stayed Bridge with span arrangement of 46m + 83m + 46m, crossing the Western Express Highway
  • Twelve Station Buildings
  • Viaduct simply supported spans ranging from 25 to 48m

DMRC UG Package CC-30: Shalimar Bagh to NetajiSubhash Place

This project comprises the Twin Tunnel between Shalimar Bagh and Netaji Subhash Place stations by Shield TBM, Twin Box tunnel, and the underground ramp on the Shakurpur side of Netaji Subhash Place station and two other stations – the Shalimar Bagh (underground) and the Netaji Subhash Place (Semi-Underground) on the Mukundpur-Yamuna Vihar Corridor (Line7) of PhaseIII Delhi MRTS. The stations have used the Cut and Cover method.

Elevated Road Corridor, Amritsar

The Elevated Road Corridor along the Grand Trunk Road (GTR), with a link to the Golden Temple in the heart of Amritsar city. Vayam was involved in the project development from the concept to the complete construction: in its engineering covering preliminary designs, detailed designs, working drawings and As-built drawings for all components of the project, which include:

  • 3.5 km long 4-lane Elevated Corridor along the GTR
  • 4-side ramps of approx. 250m lengths
  • 1.0 km long two/three lane elevated link to the Golden Temple
  • Service roads and approach roads of approx. 16 km lengths

High Level Bridge over the river Yamuna at Kalpi

This project was divided into two sections: Barah to Bhognipur and Orai to Bhognipur. It is a two-lane carriageway which was widened to four lanes. The BOT project consists of 4 major bridges, 15 minor bridges, 2 ROBs, 3 flyovers/interchange and 8 underpasses. A two-lane high-level road bridge across the river Yamuna at Kalpi is under construction as part of the BOT Project Orai-Bhognipur section of NH2.

The bridge has continuous spans (module–1 with span arrangement 52m+4*85m+42.5 m and module–2 with span arrangement 42.5m+3*85m+52 m) with a total length of 784m. Precast Segmental PSC Box superstructure with balanced cantilever construction is also underway and RCC abutments and piers on well as foundations are being proposed.

State Highways

Vayam has conducted a feasibility study and preparation of DPR for a 225 km long two/four lane state highway from Kotputli to Kuchaman in the state of Rajasthan. The project was awarded on DBFOT basis for development.
